This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with trimmers. This plastic outer spool assembly is used to house the spool of bump style trimmer heads. The outer spool assembly comes with the metal eyelets, and a retainer. The outer spool assembly is sold individually, please see model diagram for associative parts. Recommended additional parts: • Spring, part number: 791-610317B • Inner Reel, part number: 753-1155 • Bump Head Knob Assembly, part number: 791-153066B

I opened the box to verify new parts were correct, they were. I cleaned up flex shaft housing tube. I greased steel tube housing on the inside. pumped grease into the end several times. reassembled trimmer. tightened all bolts and screws. added gas/oil and started that baby up and went to work. it was a good experience and I will return i f ever needed again, or I will use replacement parts to repair other trimmers and make a side line business out of it.

Remove tap and go assembly remove the inner assembly and string. Remove the retainer clip and remove outer assembly. Replace new outer assembly and clip . Replace the inner assembly with the string and replace the bump knob .
