Product Description

?

This is a genuine Craftsman part for use with Trimmers. The line tap knob releases the cutting line when you bump the knob on the ground while the spool is turning. The most common reason for replacing the bump knob is when bumping the knob against the ground no longer causes the spool to release more line. This part is sold individually. The tool that you will need to replace the line tap knob is a flat-head screwdriver.

Is this part the one that feeds the line?
Mary For model number PP125 - April 9, 2022

Hello Mary, Thank you for your inquiry. The housing holds the internal components of the cutting head. The bump feed knob releases the cutting line when you bump the knob on the ground. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
