This item is an authentic replacement part that is sourced from the original manufacturer. The screw is intended to be used with trimmers, blowers, and edgers from Poulan, Weed Eater, Husqvarna, and Jonsered. The metal screw is used to secure the plastic fuel tank to the machine. A torx driver may be needed to install this item.
1. Placed a little super glue on star screw. (To help secure the screw)
2. Screwed the star screw in properly.
3. Tighten to ensure security.
4. Let sit for at least 24 hours, so super glue can mend.
Removed the gas lines from carburetor, after emptying the old gas tank.
Removed the 2 screws holding the gas tank.
Installed the new gas tank with fuel lines attached, by using the new screws.
Attached the new fuel lines to the carburetor.
Added gas to new tank, and I was finished.

Weed Eater fuel tank. Wife lost a screw. Tank was hanging by one screw and she didn\'t even notice it.
