This cover-air box is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part. it is not an aftermarket imitation. This part is specially designed for Poulan string trimmers and pole pruners. It is used to secure the air filter which is sold separately. Please note, this plastic cover is sold individually. Replacing this part does not require any tools.
1) Removed fuel tank
2) Examine fuel lines for links and removed lines from engine
3) Connected new lines, inserted new lines in to fuel tank
4) Installed filter on larger fuel line, cut to length
5) Reinstall fuel tank
6) Started edger
Remove cover for to access trigger.
Removed throttle wire form old trigger.
Replaced throttle wire on the new trigger.
Replaced cover for trigger mechanism.
Placed the hinge of cover air box on hinge pin attached to trimmer
Placed filter in correct position
Closed cover.
