A genuine item which is supplied directly from the original equipment manufacturer for use with Craftsman trimmers. The throttle cable connects to the trigger, then down to the throttle lever on the carburetor, over time it may wear out or get damaged eventually requiring a replacement. Make sure to check the appropriate diagrams of your model for the correct location and application of this hardware. Keep in mind this durable plastic component is sold individually.

Perfect fit
All local dealers told me that my sting trimmer was to old to get parts. Time to buy a new one. So being cheap and old and stubborn, I searched the web and you guys showed up with the right part in stock. So I order 2 just in case I damaged one or it broke in future. Place order on Friday afternoon and got it Tuesday, would have been Monday but Monday was a holiday.
Thank for being there for me. First place to go for parts!

Broken Trigger
I let a friend borrow my trimmer and it came home with a broken trigger. I put off for a few months getting it fixed then finally decided to see if I could order the part and fix it myself. Went to replacement Parts, found and ordered the part in minutes. It arrived a few days later and within about 20 minutes I had it working again. Easy to use site and great, quick service. I actually ordered 2 just in case my friend borrows it again!!!

Before starting, take a picture, then take another when you remove the screws the hold the handle together. This will help with reassembly and spring placement.

2. Removed the broken trigger careful not to drop the spring.
3. Installed the new trigger with spring.

6. Re-install the trigger/handle assembly in proper position on the shaft.
7. Test.
It was really easy and quick trimmer now runs again. Make sure you look to see how the spring is installed. The trigger would be better if made from metal as the plastic does not last long.
Remove all torx screws except for the center screw from the trigger housing. Remove broken trigger/spring assy., Remove spring from trigger & install spring on new trigger. Install new trigger/spring assy. in trigger housing. install screws.
1. Removed 5 screws
2. Removed broken throttle trigger
3. Installed new throttle trigger (Attached throttle cable, attached spring, slid new trigger into place)
4. Put back tongether with same 5 screws
5. Started it up and went to work
Unscrew the throttle housing, take throttle cable off of trigger, remove spring from trigger, retain the throttle spring and place onto new trigger. Pay attention to how you take spring off. Re-assemble and you\'re done. Pretty simple.
Placed new trigger in the same area where old trigger was , the only snag was the cable that trigger attaches to. I had to figure out that the cable had to go in a same slot where electric wires go for the stop button, otherwise I could not close the trigger assembly all the way. So if you run in to a snag that trigger assembly will no
