This replacement throttle housing is specially designed for use with Husqvarna trimmers and edgers. It is an authentic OEM sourced part, not an aftermarket imitation. This is the left hand side plastic housing piece only. Please note, the right hand side housing piece and the hardware to secure the two pieces together are all sold separately. To complete this repair you will need a screwdriver.

Edger was dropped and the plastic trigger broke off. Also fracturing the post the trigger swivels on. And i broke the spring while dissasembling the housing.
Removed broken parts, took kill switch off old part and snapped it in new part. Connected wiring, snapped new housing back in place, replaced screws and repair was complete.
1. Removed throttle housing
2. Wired on/off switch, fed the two wires and switch through desired position on new throttle housing.
3. Placed new trigger in proper place along with the new spring (came with trigger).
4. Left throttle housing and right housing fastened together.

Took it apart replaced left hand throttle housing. The issue I had was there was no written instruction. Took it apart slowly so I knew how it went back together.

left and right housing throttle and trigger were broken
I took the engine shut off switch out first, and replaced it in the new throttle housing. Next I put the spring trigger on, put the throttle cable in the new trigger, placed the wires in the throttle housing,snapped the housings together and tightened the screws back to the trimmer. Everything works fine now. Thanks
