Kit, Carb. Gasket 545008086

1. Pulled the engine covers.
2. Removed the carb.
3. Removed the carb spacer.
4. Replaced the o-ring gasket between the plate and the engine (must buy gasket kit o-ring doesn\'t come with carb kit).
5. Inspected the crankshaft seals (looked good).
6. Replaced the carb gasket and the carb.

8. Since it looked like the o-ring gasket was leaking I replaced the gaskets and reused the old carb and had the same symptoms so I ended up using a new carb
9. Runs like a champ

Remove the air filter assembly
Remove the nut holding the carburetor
Remove the carburetor
Remove the first gasket
Remove the carburetor adapter
Remove the o-ring gasket from the adapter and install the new one in
Then remove the foam gasket and install the new one
Assemble in reverse order

replaced old ang gunked up carboratour

Took shell apart to get to carb and replaced it, gaskets, spark plug, and some tubing. Someone else had taken unit apart, so had to search for assembly diagrams.
Got spline to adjust high and low speed screws.
There are many diverse suggestions for initial setting, none suggested worked.
