This is an authentic OEM part for use with Husqvarna Trimmers. The ignition module controls ignition timing and sends voltage to the spark plug. The most common reason for replacing the ignition module is when the engine won't start or is hard to start. This part is sold individually. The tools that you will need to replace the ignition module is a screwdriver, nut driver and a socket wrench.

Replacing and adjusting the module was easy. Getting down to it and then reassembling the trimmer power head was the difficult part, they don\'t make it easy.
