This plastic lid fits a compatible bump-feed string trimmer head. It holds the line spool and spring inside the head while helping protect them from grass and dirt. Replace it if the lid is cracked, worn through, or has broken locking tabs. Use the full trimmer and cutting-head model numbers to guarantee the proper fit. Turn off the engine and disconnect the spark plug or battery before installation. Check the spool, spring, and housing for damage before snapping the lid into place.
