This screw is used in the connector assembly (hinge). The hinge connects and locks the two foldable shafts on a string trimmer. If this screw goes missing or becomes damaged, it could cause a loose connection of the connector assembly on the shaft. When operating a string trimmer, it is extremely important to regularly check the tightness and condition of all bolts and screws, due to its constant vibration. This is an OEM screw that is sold separately.
