This is an authentic OEM part. The Echo latch assembly is composed of metal and plastic, and is compatible with many lawn and garden trimmers. The latch assembly helps to secure the knob in the main connector holder assembly. Although this item is sold individually, it is also available in the main connector holder assembly (61060156732). A socket set and a nut driver are helpful in making the replacement.
