This is available as a kit contains all the necessary items to repair the carburetor. The carburetor repair kit parts are made out of durable materials. They are genuine OEM sourced parts which are specially designed for use with Echo trimmers, saws, brushcutters, and edgers. A screwdriver and a set of pliers may be needed during the replacement of these items. They will require replacing if they become broken.

Gaskets old and swollen

Nutdriver, Pliers, Screw drivers, Socket set, Wrench set
Cleaned trimmer power head, removed air filter assembly, removed choke plate assembly and throttle cable. Cleaned and inspected carb during disassembly. Removed idle mixture needle from barrel valve. Completely disassembled carb, thoroughly inspected and cleaned all parts. Resurfaced reed plate with 1000 grit sandpaper affixed to safety g
... Read morelass plate. Completely removed all of old gaskets. Checked needle valve adjustment. Replaced primer bulb plate and primer bulb. Replaced all gaskets, o rings and seals. Replaced fuel intake screen. Assembled carb with new idle needle seat. Installed carburetor on power head with new fuel line, purge line, fuel filter, tank vent hose and tank vent. Replaced pull start line and handle. Installed new spark plug. Mixed Echo oil with fuel and started power head. Replaced shaft and brus blade. Started powerhead adjusted idle mixture and checked high speed operation trimmer runs like new. Finisher clearing light grass and saplings from 11/2 acre hillside lot in 2 hrs. Used 1/2 the fuel (5 tankful) as before. More power and runs cooler than before.
