This part is a genuine Echo item and it is sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with trimmers/brushcutters. The metal line cutting knife attaches to the plastic shield and is used to trim excess line to prevent damage to the shield. This line cutting knife is sold individually and does not include the screw, please note this item is also included in the plastic shield kit (part number P021001393), that is sold separately.

This Echo blade has holes for two bolts and is made of razor sharp spring steel.
