This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement part that is intended to be used with trimmers and brush cutters from Shindaiwa and Echo. The durable plastic lid is part of the cutting head assembly. The lid attaches to the top of the spool housing and is used to prevent wear between the spool and the gearbox assembly. This item is sold as an individual replacement part.
