Hello Lynnola, thank you for your question. The Head you have chosen is for a SRM-226T, not a SRM 225. For the SRM-225 the Head is 99944200907B. Take a fat-head screwdriver see as you rotate the weed whacker head there's an opening and the hole is lined up. You put it in and then the most important feature about replacing your weed whacker head is that it's reverse threaded. This means turn left to tighten and turn right to loosen. o now what you want to do is pull it down to the right and it pops right off and as you can see the whole head is spinning so unwind this off o now what you want to do is pull it down to the right and it pops right off.
