This is an authentic OEM sourced replacement part. The spring retainer is intended to be used with trimmers from Shindaiwa and Echo. The retainer is used to support the spool's compression spring within the cutting head assembly. This item may not require tools to install and is sold as an individual part.
1. Clean the area where eyelet goes.
2. Clear debris from trimmer head
3. Reload cord for trimmer head
4. Secure eyelet with light adhesive
5. Reassemble trimmer head and secure in place.
6. Inspect for any irregularity.

the screw grab the gear box to the outer tube made the Hollow became largest with the vibration.
place the new outer tube, but the screw that you bought came smaller, buy another and install the gear box and the screw I put a bit of glue to prevent the vibration is released and creates me again the hole more big
