Replaced spool on dewalt weed whacker
Took an inordinate amount of time to receive the part. Charging quite a bit of cash for shipping l felt it should have been done faster than using the USPS.
Also realized after seeing YouTube demos that the expensive DeWalt spool can be substituted by the less expensive echo spool. Wish l knew that before I purchased the DeWalt spool.

Easy repair. Used screwdriver to hold sprocket from spinning and unscrewed the old spool. Screwed the new spool on. New spool came with line, ready to use. Repair should take no more than 5 minutes.
Removed the old housing and installed the new replacement spool with the aid of a screwdriver.
