Perfect replacement but long wait...
This part is a bit pricey but it comes with complete wiring harness and the replacement procedure is easy and self explanatory. However the part took a month to arrive which I feel is unacceptable in this age of next day and two day deliveries. For this reason I will not use erelacementparts as my first choice for repair parts in the future.

I\'ve been repairing power tools since the 1970s. I use cardboard with holes poked in it to sort screws and take many clear pics to ensure wiring etc goes back correctly. An electric screwdriver etc will save much time and effort.

... Read morethe way when you remove and replace the wire. I screwed the new motor down first since there\'s no need to leave it loose. I zip tie parts as necessary to keep them from dangling. The clear plastic Walmart tackle boxes make great hardware organizers.
The trick to power tool repair is parts organization and pics to ensure correct reassembly as line drawings are not all that great for the task.
Don\'t forget to reload the grease. Automobile wheel bearing or lithium grease will do.
You\'ll need a smallTorx set (I prefer bits) for this job.
