The base I purchase did not have all the parts for just a swap out. I had to remove 3 small pins that held the levers that kept the base in position on the router motor. The pins are very small, you you need nimble fingers. The most difficult part was tapping in the small pins with out breaking the new base. I had to find something to bac k up the pins while I tapped them in. An extra set of hands would have helped. One important tip is the pin started better in one direction. I don\'t know if the pin was smaller on one end or the plastic hole in the base was larger on one side. Spend a little time checking which side goes in easier. Tap gently through the whole process. Make sure your have the correct size drift pin to tap these pins in.
