Flexible Drive Shaft 753-05030

This is an authentic OEM part for use with Craftsman Line Trimmers. The flexible drive shaft fits inside the drive shaft housing to drive the cutting head. The most common reason for replacing the flexible drive shaft is if the trimmer head is not spinning if the trimmer head makes noise, engine idles but the head won't move when throttled, the drive shaft ends are stripped or the flexible cable is kinked or broken. This part is sold individually. Here is a list of tools that are needed to replace the flexible drive shaft a pick or small screwdriver ,Phillip's screwdriver ,split-ring pliers ,long-nosed pliers, rubber mallet , wrenches and/or socket set ,wheel & chassis grease and a retainer replacement tool (or a metal tube or pipe that is slightly larger in diameter than the bushing housing drive shaft).
