Removed original gaurd from unit, but the screw holding gaurd on became stripped as I was backing out, and had to use pliers to finish the removal, luckily the new gaurd came with a new screw. Slid off broken gaurd and slid new gaurd on, and installed new screw....done, and it was a perfect fit.
