This is an authentic Ariens replacement part manufactured for use with walk behind trimmers. The control cable is used as a linkage between the bail on the handle and stop switch on the engine. Cables can break at the ends or can be bent and a broken or damaged cable will not allow the engine to start. This cable is available as an individual replacement part.
