Need help finding your model number?Product Description
?This forward control cable, compatible with various tiller models, enables forward movement when pulled by the user, engaging the forward gear. Measuring 1440mm (approximately 57 inches) in length, this control cable is equipped with a protective sheath to guard against external damage. It is an OEM part and is sold independently, without any additional securing hardware or parts. If your tiller control cable displays extensive wear, fraying, corrosion, or fails to engage the tiller correctly, it is essential to replace it promptly for optimal tiller functionality. To replace the control cable, you will need a wrench and/or screwdriver. Begin by turning off the tiller and locating the control cable near the handle. Disengage it by unscrewing and disconnecting it from the handle. Follow the cable to the engine transmission, typically held on a clip, and disconnect it. Install the new cable to the tiller handle and the engine transmission, ensuring it engages the transmission when pulled from the handle, and then test for functionality.
