I need the bushing on the drive shaft inside the gearbox that turns the gear which turns the tine shaft. Do you have one?

Hi Lisa, Thank you for writing. Very sorry, the Bushing and parts to the Gearbox are not sold separately. Teh Gearbox will need to be replaced. Good luck with the repair!

Two screws allow you to remove the motor assembly from the lower unit. Remove the tines. Remove the two bolts attaching gear box to the frame. Loosen the other two screws and remove the gearbox. One set screw lets you remove the tubing with flex drive shaft from gear box. Tug on it if it doesn\'t come out. Replace with the new gear box.

The gear box gears were slipping because the shaft bushing was worn letting the worm gear slip.

Remove the tines from the gear box shaft.
Remove the motor from the gear box.
Remove the gear box and take it apart to find out why it was slipping.
Ordered the new gear box with out the motor connecting tube.
When I was installing the connecting tube in the new gear box with 4 screws one of the screws wouldn\'t go in the housing because because the hole hadn\'t been taped at the factory.
I threaded the hole and the rest of the job was easy to finish up.

Removed the bad gear box assembly and replaced with the new gear box assembly. No problems occurred during replacement. I put it to work on completion of assembly.

gear box was not turning

1 - removed motor
2 - removed old clutch from motor and replaced with new
3 - removed old gear box
4 - removed tines from old gear box
5 - tines were loose on shaft, would not come off, used sawz all to cut shaft
5 - installed new gear box
6 - installed motor
7 - installed tines on new gear box
