This job might best be done by small engine repair tech as it requires complete disassembly to replace this part. Take a lot of pictures during tear down
1) remove engine, body panels, handle and controls.
2) remove wheels, tiller tines, counterweight and various small pieces, left with transmission
3) lay on right han d side. (Pulley side up) remove remaining bolts and carefully remove top half of gear housing. You can an the access shifter assembly. Replace and reassemble tiller. Be sure to grease gear and shifter assembly while apart.
