Removed thumb screw on element cover and elememt cover. Removed old element and vacuumed up residue from deteriorated element. Put element oil on new element and installed in area where old element was removed. Replaced element cover and installed thumb screw that holds cover secure. Started engine and checked installation for proper fit.
