This is an authentic replacement part manufactured for use with Skil table saws. Brushes wear down from normal use because they press against the rotating armature while the tool is in use. Replacing worn brushes is required to maintain a proper electrical current while the tool is in use. These carbon brushes are sold as a set, and the sets are sold individually.
