I dropped my ripping slider and broke the locking lever

I removed the nut at the other end that retains the spring
I now have the 2 screws, a nut, tension spring, the cover over slide and locking handle
There is a push pin (about a half inch round) I used my finger to push it out
I now have 4 washers the pin and the broken handle/leve ... Read more r
I put the new handle/lever in its bracket putting back the washers. 1 on each side of the lever inside of the bracket and 1 on each out side of the locking mechanism and I then push them pin back in
If you put put the pin in part way before you put the lever in the bracket it is easier to line the washers back in place
I then put the tension rod back in the rip slide, the rod has to go through a hole in the slide
I then took a piece of duct tape to hold the lever bracket in place after the tension rod is in the hole
I then put the spring in, the tension locking bracket and put the nut back on
The most complicated thing was getting the tension rod though the hole on the other end
My lever mechanism still had plenty of grease so I didnÆt add any
