This replacement dado throat plate is an authentic OEM sourced item that is specially designed for use with Ryobi table saws. The purpose of this part is to prevent excessive splintering of the wood which will result in cleaner cuts. Please note this plate is made of high-quality plastic and it is sold individually. To install the throat plate, first slip the tab into the slot at the back of the saw and then push down to secure in place.
