Switch was shorted. I bought a Powermatic 64A with a burned up motor and shorted switch.

The switch assembly comes complete. It took minimal time to wire the motor and power to the new switch. I used the old switch box to wire in a 110v receptacle as the table will also be used as an assembly table.
The switch has 2 screws per side. The hot and neutral power (black and white) screw to one side of the switch and the hot and neutral to the motor go to the other side of the switch. I stripped the wires and crimped on some solder less connectors and wired it up. It\'s that easy.

Switch contacts burned out because sawdust got into internal part of switch

Removed old switch and disconnected wires. Installed wires in new switch mounted switch to bracket and mounted unit to saw with one bolt.
