I had to cut out the old height adjustment bolt out because I could not get to move..
1.To make this easy remove the saw from the stand and turn the saw upside down.
2.Remove the blade and till the blade to 45 degrees. This makes it easy to work on height bolt assembly and height worm.
3.Remove the wheel then remove the bolts and height regulating bolt assembly.
4. I had to remove the anchor block. then remove the height worm.
Remember where the washers go on the height adjust bolt so when you reinstall it in the correct place.
good luck.

Took plastic blade dust guard off, removed screws in the pillow block, took screw out of ways removed ways and sanded clean, removed adjustment rod and collar and bevel gear, pay close attention to where the thr ust washers go for re-assembly. Then remove adjustment worm, take picture with smart phone in case you forget where things go, do this first. Then re-assemble. It took 2 hrs because I left a washer out and had to take apart and re-assemble.

You have to remove the table from the saw (8 bolts 4 for the table and 4 to hold the saw in place) then remove the Height worm and install new one as you installing the height worm you have to add the new bevel gear. then replace the bevel gear on the adjust worm. The only thing I didn\'t like is the heights adjuster and the adjustment ro d gears come with (2) Allen head set screws and the rod\'s still have the \"through bolt\" holes in them so you have to take special caution not to line up the set screws into those holes. You really get to know your saw when you do this one. Hope it doesn\'t break again because I smashed my fingers.
