It is an authentic OEM sourced replacement part which is specially designed for use with Makita table saws. This is a complete assembly which includes the armature, the plastic fan, the armature bearing and the commutator end bearing. Due to constant contact with carbon brushes armature will gradually wear out and may begin to fail eventually requiring a replacement to ensure peak performance. Keep in mind this high-quality component is sold individually.
