Check to make sure that the table saw is unplugged from the power source. Facing the table saw as if you were going to cut wood, remove the left hand side panel (4 screws). Follow the power cord back to the power switch and remove the phillips head screws which hold the black plastic protective cover in place. Using needle nosed pliers
... Read more, remove the wires from the defective switch one at a time and tag them for location. Remove the defective switch from the housing and install the new one by snapping it in place. Replace the wires one at a time, making sure they are placed according to the tagged location. Replace black plastic protective cover, plug in power cord, and check saw for proper operation.
The belt and the lock knob were purchased as spare parts.
