This Throat Plate is an OEM replacement part sourced directly from the original parts manufacturer. This purpose of the throat plate is to provide access to the blade. This part includes the lock-knob and the adjustment screws. Common reasons this part will need to be replaced is due to a broken lock-knob or from a bad kickback.
