This is one of the two special thrust washers for the elevating screw. Over time the part will wear out, it can get damaged or lost eventually requiring a replacement. Keep in mind this thrust washer is sold as an individual item. It is supplied by the original equipment manufacturer for use with DeWALT table saws. Check the owner's manual and the appropriate diagrams for your model to ensure the correct repair procedure. Snap-ring pliers, a screwdriver, and a wrench set might be needed to replace this thrust washer.
