This lock nut is sourced directly from an original manufacturer. It is designed for use with Dewalt table saws. This is standard hardware which has multiple applications based on your tool. Please refer to diagrams for proper application. It is made out of metal and it is sold individually. You would need a wrench to remove or install this nut.
I added the locating pin and nut on the rail right next to the plastic part of the fence, (while installed in original position). I can now remove fence and install over new locating pins to gain ripping width. They could be installed even a bit more, but would require more calibrating, and gets kinda scary that far. Moved fence to extreme position on extrusions. Placed new screws in extrusions. Moved fence to table slots to allow alignment of fence and tighten screws. This allows ripping over 24 inches.
Just put the locating pin in place and tightened it. Thank you.
