This authentic item is supplied from the original manufacturer for DeWALT table saws. It is one of two wear pads for the gear case. These pads simply help to cushion the case and reduce vibrations. To ensure the exact location and the correct application of the new part, refer to the diagrams of your model. This high-quality wear pad is made of a durable rubber material and is sold as an individual component. Note, there is also a spacer that goes between the cap and the gear case which is sold separately. Replacing it is a simple task that does not require any special tools, simply pry off the old pad and press on the new one.
