I over-torqued the blade retention nut and crushed the original lighter gauge blade flange washer.

1. Unplugged the saw.
2. Used standard maintenance procedure to remove the saw table blade access insert cover.
3. Inserted the saw arbor wrench on the shaft wrench flats and the blade nut wrench on the blade nut, and loosened the blade nut. Removed the nut by hand.
4. Loosened the existing flange washer by wiggling the blade, then removed the existing blade flange washer and discarded. Took a new flange washer and installed it onto the arbor with the large flat surface toward the blade.
5. Reinstalled the blade nut up to the new flange by hand, then used the arbor shaft and blade nut wrenches to snug the nut and new flange to the blade.
6. Checked the blade by hand to assure it was not loose.
7. Reinstalled the saw table blade access insert cover.
8. Plugged in the saw and cautiously test run to verify smooth blade running.

Simple, it is a flange washer built so the blade would spin on shaft if in a bind, but USE ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT
