This is a Genuine Manufacturer Approved replacement part designed for Delta Uniguard. This part is made out of Plastic with a Metal Shaft. This part plays an important role by protecting a user for non-through cutting operations since the blade guard doesn't have to be removed.
Loosened set screws, it pretty easily pulled apart and I put the new ones in and tightened the set screws and adjusted positioning and done... ! much better now !
