This is a genuine Shindaiwa replacement part. This metal item is used in conjunction with the Impeller W/Pin (part # 14460-1). It spins in order to direct and control the flow of particles out of the hopper. The agitator is best used with softer materials such as fertilizer or seeds; so the agitator should be removed when dispersing rock salt as it can cause damage to the gearbox. One agitator is included with each order.
