I removed the side cover, looked at what wires were connected before removing any, looked at replacement connections on new power cord assembly, only one was different. It needed to be changed to fit older pump wiring connections. Obviously, new power cord assembly is not compatible with older pumps and will need some minor adjustments. F
... Read moreirst was the 90 degree hard rubber to fit into the housing of the pump. Only for newer pumps. You will need to cut it off, carefully, to fit your older machine. I took a razor knife and carefully cut it off little by little to expose the main wire housing. Once removed, I cut the end of the white wire to replace a flat style connection to a bullet connection. very simple and easy. Once completed, closed side panel, connected to power source, and turned it on. SUCCESS
So far, no problems. make sure all your connections are tight and secure.
