1. Put on nitrile disposable gloves. Remove and clean out sprayer tank, removed spray wand.
2. Removed lithium battery.
3. Removed all Phillips head screws; removed casing. Took picture of internal parts, casing layout.
4. Clipped + and - on/off wires on damaged pump and disconnected pump tubes; removed pump, cleaned vi negar acid residue in pump area.
5. Installed new ereplacement pump, attached pump tubes, soldered on/off wires to new pump terminals.
6. Reassembled sprayer, installed battery. Tested unit with water in tank and wand attached. Sprayer worked good as new. The new pump is an exact replacement pump. I saved about $70 dollars buying the pump rather than purchasing a a brand new Ryobi electric sprayer. I received the pump in time to spray my dormant fruit trees.

Model P2800 Ryobi chem sprayer. removed all screws from the housing. Removed old pump and motor assembly. Installed new assembly and soldered the motor leads. It was difficult to disconnect the pump hoses as they needed to be heated with a heat gun. I would suggest buying two new connector hoses as you might tear the old ones. I had a sma ll tear but the clamp cover it.

I Removed all the screws holding the two case halves together then removed the screws holding pump to one case half then removed hose clamps from pump hoses.
Then used solder iron to unsolder the two wires from the old pump motor. I installed new pump and connector with hoses and clamps.
I soldered the two wires back to the new pump motor. I screwed new pump assembly to one case half. I screwed the two case halves back together and that was it. It works great.
