Ryobi electric sprayer pump destroyed after spraying weeds with a high concentration of vinegar.

2. Removed lithium battery.
3. Removed all Phillips head screws; removed casing. Took picture of internal parts, casing layout.
4. Clipped + and - on/off wires on damaged pump and disconnected pump tubes; removed pump, cleaned vi ... Read more negar acid residue in pump area.
5. Installed new ereplacement pump, attached pump tubes, soldered on/off wires to new pump terminals.
6. Reassembled sprayer, installed battery. Tested unit with water in tank and wand attached. Sprayer worked good as new. The new pump is an exact replacement pump. I saved about $70 dollars buying the pump rather than purchasing a a brand new Ryobi electric sprayer. I received the pump in time to spray my dormant fruit trees.

Pump would not pump

Then used solder iron to unsolder the two wires from the old pump motor. I installed new pump and connector with hoses and clamps.
I soldered the two wires back to the ... Read more new pump motor. I screwed new pump assembly to one case half. I screwed the two case halves back together and that was it. It works great.
Ryobi Weed Sprayer - Pump just quit working - was still under warrantee - but easier to just order replacment parts
