This part is a genuine replacement wand for use Echo herbicide and pesticide sprayers. The wand itself is made of durable, rigid brass. The fittings are made of tough plastic. The rubber seals used on both ends of the wand are not included so be sure to order them if needed. One reason you would need to replace the wand is that the threads on the couplings can strip out over time. Another common problem is freeze damage to the fittings. If liquid is left in the sprayer during the winter it can freeze. The frozen liquid will expand, causing the fittings to split and then leak. Replacement is simple, just unscrew at the couplings. When replacing make sure that the rubber seals are present and aren't cracked or otherwise damaged. This part is sold individually.

The nozzle on the sprayer wand had come off. My wife had used electrical tape to keep it on the wand.
