This is the exact part and fit perfectly !!!
Reel almost 20 yrs old and a tough 4 pound bass sheared a nice flat spot on the gear lol,,, Reel feels brand new !!! Be sure to note the parts placement order and direction and you'll be good to go. For this reel the screw that holds the part that turns this gear, is a flip clamp, connected to the spindle stem. Lift the top where the screw was removed, then pull away from the spindle. Position depth in to drag, will place the clamp positions. Just feel the clamp hit the grooves...

Took apart back together several times looking for problem and trying lubrication with reel grease. Finally noticed the broken tooth and ordered replacement gear. Repair went reasonably quick with some help from various web sites. Previous tear downs helped shorten the time for final repair. .
