This item is a genuine Shimano replacement part that has been sourced from the original manufacturer to be used with spinning fishing reels. The bail arm is used to link the bail wire to the rotor. This item allows the bail wire to pivot when casting. It is located on the line roller side of the rotor and a small screwdriver may be needed for this repair. This bail arm is made of durable material and is sold as an individual component. Note, the hardware to secure it is sold separately.

Remove three screws with slotted screw driver. Put back together with new parts

Bail spring guide and bail arm broken

I\'m not super mechanically inclined but once I figured out where the bail spring guide was supposed to go (right under the bail flipping mechanism)it was a super easy fix. Used a screw driver to remove old parts and replaced with new ones.

Removed broken part, replaced with new parts. Reel works fantastic now, just like brand new, and much cheaper than having to buy a new reel.

Removed the 3 screws, watch out for the little spring inside the trigger removed the worn parts, installed the new trigger and bail
