1. Remove 2 screws holding bail to reel.
2. Remove and replace broken bail spring.
3. Re-attach bail to reel.
4. Go fishing

Broken bail spring

Use a screw driver to loosen bail. Remove broken spring and replace with new. Be sure to install new spring correctly. Once removing old spring, you will see how to install new one. Tighten bail screws and youÆre ready to go.

I just removed the side cover and undid the screw that locks in the spool shaft slid the old one out slid the new one in and then put the screw back in. On the bail spring basically just un do the bail screw take the old Spring out set the new one in and tighten the screw back up .

1. Removed the bail attachment screw.
2. Accessed and replaced the broken spring.
3. Cleaned and lubricated all moving parts of the reel.
4. Re-attached the bail.
