Pretty easy to just install.
However, the bail arm is thicker (and/or heavier) than the original part for a older penn 450ss. This causes the weight on the rotor to be uneven and cause a \"wobble\".
Would recommend original part if available. Newer 4500ss or 450ssg rotor have a brass weight which may offset the wobble though.

Bail arm screw broke off on my Penn 450 ss spinning reel. I put another screw in it\'s place but it was ugly and it was not original! This screw was exactly what I needed and was a perfect replacement

I took out the old non original screw and put the new one in with the bushing and put a thin coat of Penn reel grease on the bushing and outside of screw contact areas and put it together and tightened the screw down snug being careful not to overtighten it because it is aluminum and a rather small size thread! Not quite sure of the threa d size but sure didn\'t want to over tighten it and break it off! I love these old Penn reels and they are made good! This was a very easy fix!

Tapped out broken screw then replaced it with new screw.
Bearing cover, I tighten it with pliers so if comes missing again I will know it was stolen; plus it will be hard to unscrew it by fingers.
