This is an original Abu Garcia replacement part. The handle retainer is designed by the manufacturer for use in fishing reels. This part is made of high-quality plastic and metal, and is placed on the far side of the reel body from the handle and drive gear to help hold them in place. No tools are required when replacing this item. Simply unscrew the old part and screw the new one into place. This product is sold individually.
