screwed knob on chute and snapped deflector on to chute

After 8 years of use the chute cracked and throwing snow diminished. The chute replacement was easy, replacement of belt led to discovery of shear pin failure on impeller. 2 hours later all fixed.

Chute replacement is removing directional joy stick linkage, and geared control. Start with chute straight makes reasm easier.
The impeller sheared pin is a 1/4 inch bolt, local Ace had those.
Took a little WD40 and a drift to break loose.
Belts were not bad, replaced anyway. Note on the earlier 724\'s, remove the bearin ... Read more
